RobCo Industries
RobCo Industries was one of the biggest and most influential computer and robotics corporations in the United States. The company's name is either an abbreviation of the term "Robot Company," or was named after its founder, Robert House, the eventual master of New Vegas, in the Mojave Wasteland.Founded in 2042 by Robert House, by 2049 RobCo had become one of the most powerful corporations in the world, rivaling even Poseidon Energy. By 2077, their patented software and robotic designs formed the cornerstone of American industry, exemplified by the 2075 Unified operating system, which was used in nearly every computer system on American soil in the years just before the Great War.
The company had numerous joint design and manufacturing ventures, including developing the Pip-Boy for Vault-Tec and the Liberty Prime project with General Atomics International and the US Army. In 2075, RobCo purchased REPCONN Aerospace, allowing the company to enter the aerospace industry

Eyebots
Eyebots were originally designed by RobCo before the Great War to act as media transmitters.Eyebots are spherical robots, slightly larger than the human head, with a loudspeaker and electrical zapper on the front and several long antennas protruding from its top and back. They are used by the Enclave on the East Coast to broadcast Enclave propaganda, presidential speeches and patriotic marching music to the people of the Capital Wasteland in the form of their own radio station.
Liberty Prime
Liberty Prime is a unique U.S. Army robot found at the Citadel. Liberty Prime was found and brought to working order by the Brotherhood of Steel. Its total restoration was due to the assistance of Dr. Madison Li, who solved Prime's power issues, in the year 2277.Liberty Prime is a formidable combat robot that is being tinkered with in the Brotherhood of Steel's laboratory. Its original intent was to liberate Anchorage, Alaska, from the Red Chinese during the Sino-American War of 2072. It is programmed to deliver a mixture of patriotic propaganda messages and incredible firepower to ensure victory.[1]
The Citadel laboratory computer terminal located directly in front of Liberty Prime reveals that the project was commissioned by General Constantine Chase as a joint effort between the U.S. Army, General Atomics International and RobCo Industries. However, problems with the power system caused major delays. These delays consumed so much time that Anchorage was ultimately liberated in a much longer and more costly battle using the United States Army's other secret weapon: the T-51b power armor.
Roughly two centuries later, Liberty Prime was finally salvaged and brought into service by the Brotherhood of Steel after they discovered it in the basement of the destroyed Pentagon. The Brotherhood was able to modify Prime's targeting system to perceive Enclave forces and super mutants to be Chinese communists.
Liberty Prime required a tremendous amount of energy to operate. The Brotherhood of Steel was unable to provide the necessary amount of power, even with the advanced technology salvaged from inside the Pentagon. Eventually, with the aid of Dr. Li, the Brotherhood of Steel solved the problem.
Liberty Prime was the Brotherhood's trump card against the Enclave, and was revealed when it marched on Project Purity where it was used to effortlessly destroy the Enclave defenders entrenched there. For two weeks afterward, Liberty Prime helped the Brotherhood prevail in the war against the Enclave, but was eventually destroyed by an orbital warhead bombardment at the Enclave-held satellite relay station. Liberty Prime's remains were recovered by the Brotherhood of Steel and, though it would take months or years to do so, the Brotherhood set about rebuilding and upgrading it.

Mister Gutsy
Mister Gutsy is a line of military robot models created by General Atomics International. It is a militarized version of the Type-II Mister Handy, an earlier civilian model robot created by the same company for use in household duties.
The Mister Gutsy, unlike the Mister Handy, is a dedicated combat robot and is easily distinguished from the Handy model by its military olive-drab paint job, WWII-era U.S. Army roundel insignia, improved weapons and the replacement of its British butler voice with an American drill sergeant's. This model was commissioned by the U.S. Army just before the Great War in 2077. They have distinctive "soldierly" personalities, with an advanced AI somewhat similar to that of the Mister Handy model. More likely than not, due to the conflict with China that caused the Great War, Mister Gutsies often scream anti-communist phrases, similar to Liberty Prime. Mister Gutsies also have a more "gung-ho" patriotic personality compared to the other combat robots in the Capital Wasteland.

The Mister Handy
The Mister Handy series of robots, named so because of the robot's large number of hands,[1] was first brought to market in 2037 as a general construction and maintenance unit by General Atomics International, with some assistance from RobCo. Primarily used in the United States and Mexico (where it was the leader in sales after the Mexico City earthquake of 2042), the Mister Handy was a reliable robot. An early bug that caused interference in the operation of the multiple arms was fixed with a hardware update in 2039, with no major problems since then. A key selling feature is the nuclear power unit (a model 238B, licensed from Calpower) and self-maintenance modes. Multiple Mister Handies are capable of keeping themselves in working condition (Self Diagnostics) and are also fully programmed to perform nuclear fuel replacements. Secondary programming handles radiation cleansing after refueling.
Protectron
Created by the RobCo corporation, protectron robots were designed (as their name suggests) for protection, although they can also be seen being used in a manual labor role as well. Typically used in office-type settings, their secondary programming is modular, making them useful as greeters, ticket collectors, bartenders, celebrity or historical figure impersonators, even sexual partners. In terms of combat, protectrons are usually weak and easy to defeat, because of their weak weapons and slow movement speed.
Some attributes of the protectrons looks were derived from 1950's comic books, the era in which many of Fallout's designs come from.
Many protectrons were commissioned by the U.S. Army before the Great War of 2077. They are painted a dark olive drab with a white star on their chest. These mechanized soldiers still wander the wastes, attacking everything from radroaches to Brotherhood Outcasts. Interestingly, the Brotherhood Outcasts use their own protectrons which are painted in rust and black. The Pitt adds a new variety of protectron called the "factory protectron", which lacks a glass dome but possesses a single ocular lens, and a cage around the combat inhibitor. The top of where the dome would be appears to be made to look like a construction hard-hat and the body has a yellow coloration. Broken Steel adds "Enclave protectrons", which appear to be much newer, with red glass domes and a polished steel-gray finish. A special red-painted protectron appears at the House of Wares in Point Lookout.
Protectrons in various areas have been programmed differently; the protectrons in the Nuka-Cola plant for example, say that they are operating under the authority of the Nuka-Cola Corporation as they attack you, with the words "Nuka-Cola!" being dubbed in from an exterior source. Other protectrons have even been supplied with sophisticated personalities, such as Button Gwinnett and Dean Dewey.
A protectron with the basic personality loaded can execute "sequences", lists of tasks to complete, such as patrolling an area for intruders or scanning passengers for tickets, in the case of the metro station protectrons. Some sequences may have been programmed by RobCo Industries, while others were written by robotics technicians at the locations where they are used. When not in use, a protectron unit is stored in a base pod, which also charges its battery. The protectron is connected to its base pod via radio uplink, and the pod is in turn linked to a control terminal or computer system, which can be hacked to release the protectron from stasis.

Sentry bots
Sentry bots (military serial numbers SB-XXXX) are security robots made before the Great War with the express purpose of participating in the heaviest of firefights during war. Where the Mister Gutsy is a hovering platform with modest armor plating, and the protectron was originally designed for protecting business premises, the sentry bot is a powerhouse, equipped with sturdy armor plating, powerful weapons integrated into its chassis and high mobility thanks to wheels mounted on its three legs.
